Consult via web, phone or app: step by step
How to confirm your exact date and avoid common mistakes
Official website: Access from a trusted device, check the browser's padlock icon, and locate the bimonthly calendar or the announcements section. Confirm that it mentions your program and that the letter order is clearly displayed.
Note the date and save a screenshot. If a site asks for PINs, verification codes, or card details to "display" your date, close it: the date lookup doesn't require that information.

Helpline: Have your CURP (Mexican ID) and identification ready. Call during off-peak hours, request your assigned date, and record the advisor's name, the time, and a summary of the response. If you are assisting a senior citizen, use speakerphone so both of you can hear and verify. If you are asked to follow up again within a certain timeframe, make a note of it and set a reminder.
App: Install it only from official stores, activate PIN or biometric security, and check your balance, next deposit, and transactions. If the deposit appears in the app but not yet at the ATM, wait a reasonable amount of time or use an alternative payment method. Avoid repeatedly entering your PIN if the system is slow: a blocked account will ruin your day.
Service centers: These are the appropriate way to update your information (CURP, address, marital status) and to resolve questions that can't be answered online or by phone. Bring your ID, proof of address, and supporting documents. Ask about specific hours and service windows to make the most of your visit.
Common mistakes and their antidotes: relying on screenshots without a bimonthly period (antidote: validate current publication), confusing the letter (antidote: remember it's the first surname ), leaving without checking the app/portal (antidote: mandatory prior verification), going during peak hours without an alternative (antidote: two points + two off-peak hours), throwing away receipts (antidote: physical or digital folder per bimonthly period).
Integrate the three buttons in this section into your routine. “ Security Tips ” summarizes practices that prevent delays and fraud; the “ Main Guide ” provides context; and the reference to the previous two-month period helps you understand the logic behind the distribution—without replacing current verification.
